Marula Cottage Guest Lodge - Thabazimbi

The location of Marula Cottage Guest Lodge is fantastic, situated next to a stunning valley and surrounded by nature. the wildlife guides are knowledgeable and passionate about their work. It's conveniently located just a 10-15 minute walk from Caccia & Tails, making it easy to grab lunch or dinner there.

i booked twin room overlooking mountain. a refrigerator, an electric kettle, and air conditioner were good. the hotel has stunning location right by wild mountains. cafe carafe coffee roasters located 1 km away was a nice surprise.

Our stay at Marula Cottage Guest Lodge was truly delightful. the lodge is beautifully decorated and incredibly comfortable, especially with the lovely terrace. Each morning, we enjoyed a tasty breakfast with a great selection of options, and the food was absolutely delicious. the location is exceptional, surrounded by wildlife, which added to the overall experience.

I booked it many times and recommend. The location was comfy and nice, by wildlife. It was also very close to wild mountains, a beautiful valley surrounded by wild mountains, and the welcoming nature of the property.

The location, surrounded by stunning mountains and nature, created the perfect atmosphere for us to bond and explore. The warm and welcoming hosts, Monika and Dave, made us feel like part of their own family. The delicious meals prepared by Monika were a highlight, and we highly recommend trying their dinner. The sunrise views were breathtaking, adding another level of beauty to our stay. We cannot recommend this place enough for families looking for an unforgettable experience in Thabazimbi.

For dads, it would be great to have some more organized activities specifically designed for children.

The hotel is beautifully situated on the mountains, making for stunning views and a serene experience close to nature. The rooms with terraces are spacious and well-furnished, complete with big fridges to store your snacks and drinks. The breakfast is delicious, and the service from the staff was impeccable. Additionally, the hosts of this hotel are incredibly friendly and accommodating, making sure you feel right at home during your stay. Just like Mafuto from a previous review, their dog might even become your new best friend.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a wonderful guest lodge in a peaceful location surrounded by beautiful landscapes. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the service provided by the hosts was exceptional. I particularly enjoyed the delicious meals served in the dining area, where I had the opportunity to socialize with other guests. The knowledgeable staff also provided great advice for exploring the nearby national parks, making my experience even more memorable.
